Flooring Installation in Star, Idaho

Meridian Quality Flooring provides flooring installation in Star, Idaho, northwest of Meridian on Highway 44. Almost all new construction. Little pre-1990 stock. HOA exteriors and fast-growth plats toward Middleton are the job list, not a historic core.

Call (208) 764-4899 with the plat name and a slab photo. We quote Star as new-construction work.

Flooring Installation Services We Provide in Star

Builder-film upgrades

Thin print in a 2018 great room. We pull it and lay a real wear layer. The HOA fence does not change the core. The slab does.

Whole-house rigid plank

Carpet up on a young pour. Flatten, meter, float or glue. Two-car-house living fields are the volume.

Slider and west-glass rooms

New plats still have west light. Expansion at the slider is the July job. Tight gaps peak even on a waterproof core.

Stairs still in carpet

Production split: plank through the hall, carpet still on the treads. Noses as their own line. Particle-board treads are common.

Flooring Installation Considerations for Star Homes

Star doubled in a decade, and the flooring stock is almost all new construction. Little pre-1990 stock compared with Boise or downtown Nampa. Highway 44 strip is the spine. Fast-growth plats toward Middleton add the next ring of broom-finish slabs.

HOA exteriors are real. Vinyl fences and young trees sit next to the slider where grit starts. That grit wears a builder film. We spec mils. We still leave the mill gap. A new house is not a license to skip flatness. Fill and settlement show up in south-valley plats and they show up here too.

Almost all new construction means acclimation in a house that may still smell like paint. Heat on. Boxes open. A garage-hot carton in July is not ready. We meter when the lot looks irrigated. Laterals are less of a downtown story and more of an edge-lot story toward Middleton.

This is not Old Town joists. It is not Eagle custom unless the house actually is. It is production growth on Highway 44. We install to that.

Young trees and vinyl fences sit next to the slider where grit starts. That grit, not the HOA logo, wears a builder film. We spec mils. Fill and settlement still show up even when every elevation on the street looks new. A dipped pour is a patch. Fast growth toward Middleton adds edge lots that still carry irrigation. We test those pours. Heat on, boxes open, then the lock. A garage-hot carton is not ready.

Almost all new construction still needs acclimation in a conditioned house. Paint smell is not a moisture number. We meter young pours. West glass in a new great room still grows that floating field in July. The mill gap has to exist even when the baseboard is fresh. We leave it.

Questions

Are Star new-construction slabs on the list?

Yes. Northwest of Meridian on Highway 44, Ada County. Almost all new construction. Little pre-1990 stock compared with Boise. HOA exteriors and fast-growth plats toward Middleton are the map. Tell us the plat name if you have it. We still want a slab photo.

Is Star just builder LVP?

That is the common ask. Young HOA trees and vinyl fences do not pick the lock. The slab and the mill sheet do. Some owners upgrade a builder film to a 20 mil core. We will not pretend a 6 mil print is that upgrade. Mils belong on the call.

Do HOAs in Star control the floor?

Exteriors more than interiors. Some packets still care about what shows at a slider. Bring the packet if a visible great room is in play. Fast-growth plats toward Middleton add laterals on some lots. We test vapor when the pour is young or the pad is stained.

How do I schedule Star flooring installation?

Name the Highway 44 area or the plat. Photos of the broom finish plus the slider help. Doubled in a decade means a lot of similar slabs. We still straightedge. A dipped pour is not 'close enough' because the next house looks the same from the curb.
